This pattern is super easy and quick to knit. I designed it because I wanted a nice warm wool cowl to wear to my son’s high school football games when it gets colder out.

The pattern can be knit on any super bulky weight yarn - I used Ella Rae Mega because it is what I had in the school color I needed. The cowl is knit in the round so there is no seam. The pattern is a 2 row repeat and super easy to follow. You will need to know how to join in the round, knit and purl to knit this cowl.

You will also want to use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of the round and you will need a darning needle to weave in your ends.

If you use the Ella Rae super bulky yarn you will only need one skein but if your skein has less than 137 yds you will need 2 skeins.
