This long wingspan shawl features two distinct knitting patterns. The focal stitch is a true lace, and the edging is a famous one from the Shetland Islands. Together they make a beautiful shawl, which can be worn in many different ways. The very wide wingspan allows you to wear it in a variety of ways.

This pattern contains two sizes: A plus size as well as a regular size crescent shaped shawl. The larger one measures 74 inches wide x 34 inches deep, and the smaller one measures: 62 inches wide and 28 inches deep.

The edging contains optional beads, with instructions on how to do bead knitting.

The stitches are both charted and written out line by line.

Skill Level: Intermediate - Intermediate + (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting).

The wrap was expertly pattern tested by Page Zelasko, who can be contacted at: izazbz @yahoo.com, and it was knit using Mrs. Crosby’s Hat Box yarn in the colorway, Monkey Orchid.
