Many are the legends surrounding Melusine. They often have a pixie marrying a human with the caveat that he should never intrude on her privacy. She would build him
a fine castle with her magic, and over the years bear him many children. He would invariably peek, and seeing that she was a mermaid, all would be lost.

Mitts are worked in the round. The focus of the stitch pattern is on the back of the hand. The rest of the mitt is worked in twisted rib for a comfortable fit.

Yarn: 185 (220) yards fingering weight yarn.

Skills: knit, purl, k1 tbl, twisted rib, k2tog, ssk, p2tog, YO, knitting in the round.
