I have always loved mermaids and now my daughter does too! This applique would be so cute on a beach bag, sun hat, skirt, hair clip, and many other fun things.

Finished size using size H/5mm hook and worsted weight yarn:

Approx. 4 inches tall and 1 inch across.

Pattern is ranked intermediate and uses the following stitches: single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble (triple) crochet, and slip stitch.

There are 18 detailed pictures in this pattern to help those who need to see examples. I am a visual learner and just have to see it sometimes to understand.
