The Merry Fade Cowl was initially designed to be used with the Cameo Yarns Merry & Bright Set that included a six 92 yard (20 gram), mini-skein gradient set in bright, rainbow hues.

The pattern is easily adaptable to mini skeins with less yardage, simply work fewer repeats between colors. To work the pattern as written, you will need minis that are at least 15 - 20 grams each color.

The cowl is worked one color at a time and uses slipped stitches to add texture and to fade the colors together.
