Some winter days in the Midwest require a little extra warmth. I designed this hat during a brutally cold sub-zero week just for that reason.
Using super bulky weight yarn and larger needles, this simple hat pattern is perfect for beginning knitters - or a rather quick knit for more experienced ones.
This hat uses only 45-50 yards of yarn. If you are snowed in, you could use leftover scrap yarn from other projects and make it extra fun and colorful.
