✿ Turn your mini skeins into butterflies

This motif shawl reminds me of a butterfly. When I was young we fed our caterpillars milkweed so they could emerge from their cocoons as beautiful butterflies, and this design brings that right back.

Hexagon motif shawls are unique and so practical for outdoor events like weddings or festivals. You stay cozy in a gorgeous wrap and still have easy access to your phone and camera. It is also free on the Briana K Designs website.

• Hexagon motifs. Each one is about 8” x 8”.
• A true stash buster. Use a mini skein set or yarn of your choice.
• Easy and beginner friendly. Gauge is not critical.
• You’re not on your own. Video tutorial and written pattern included.

• Yarn: Smalliday Set 2021, Emma’s Yarn, or yarn of your choice. Practically Perfect Small Set, 80% superwash merino, 20% nylon, 2025 yds
• Love a swap? Practically Perfect Sock, Emma’s Yarn (80% merino, 20% nylon) · Super Silky, Emma’s Yarn (80% merino, 20% silk)
• Hook: D (3.25mm)
• Tools: Removable Stitch Markers (if needed) · Yarn Needle · Scissors · Blocking Mat · Blocking Pins
