The swirling, subtle lace captures thousands of twinkling stars in this relaxed slouchy hat with added glamour. Whilst the shape of the hat is perfect for dress down days and casual hair, the lace adds a touch of sheer elegance as well as a lot of fun.

For the average-sized head the larger size will result in a hat with extra slouch, but it is recommended that you knit the ribbing with needles a size or two smaller than expected to ensure the ribbed hat band still remains snug.

Additional tips are given on how to choose and achieve the right amount of ease for the hat you wish to create.
