Milo the brontosaurus is cuddly and oh so cute. This baby dinosaur’s head, body, and tail are worked in one piece, so you’ll only have to sew on the legs.

I used Loops & Threads Impeccable for mine, but any worsted weight yarn will work. You’ll need less than 1 skein. I used a size E (3.5mm) crochet hook, but you can easily change the hook size or yarn weight since gauge doesn’t matter much for this pattern (just make sure your stitches are tight enough to hold in the stuffing).

You will also need some stuffing, a tapestry needle for sewing, and two safety eyes (~ 10mm). I would recommend using a stitch marker to help you keep your place, since the pattern is worked in a continuous round.

This pattern is written in US terminology and includes step-by-step pictures and helpful hints to guide you through everything. It also includes a photo tutorial for the invisible decrease stitch. The pattern uses only basic crochet stitches, but is intended for intermediate level crocheters and above due to shaping techniques.

A special thank you to my wonderful pattern testers Ashleigh, Katie, Nashira, and Paula.
