A slouchy beret/tam worked from the top down in two colors.
Mimetico make use of stranded colorwork, together with twisted ribs and eyelets on a purl background. This kind of execution makes the “background” sections looking embossed, in a sort of three dimensional effect, resembling the foliage of a tree.

Due to their little dimensions, hats are perfect projects to try something new.
This pattern mixes different advanced techniques that are rarely used together as magic circle CO for knitting, stranded colorwork or lace on a purl background.
Quite complex, but quick and rewarding.
