These little sheep stockings are great for hanging on the tree, putting small gifts in or you can embroider numbers on them for a Christmas countdown stocking set.

Two sizes are given: Ornament-1.25x4 inches; Mini-2.75x6.5 inches.

Materials:
Light Sport or Heavy Fingering weight yarn-10(30) yards colors A and B, 5 yards color C, 1 yard color D

Size 1 double pointed needles or size for gauge. Since this is a decorative piece, gauge is not strictly essential, but fabric needs to be dense enough that floats don’t show through.

Optional: 2(4), 6 mm pom poms or jingle bells
