Mini Knickers - A Cervical Cancer Awareness pattern.

I was inspired to design these when i found out about Helen Baker’s #weareallsmearready campaign to raise awareness of cervical cancer. She creates mini knickers using her sewing skills and leaves them in a public place with an info label, for folks to find. Since I wanted to join in with the campaign and don’t sew, I decided to create a crochet pattern.

It’s a perfect stashbusting pattern too as I only used approx 15g of DK yarn and a 4mm hook to make mine but you can use any you like.

I used the sewing template on the campaign website as a rough size guide when designing my knickers and they measure approximately 3 ¾” x 2 ½”.
