This tutorial includes 20 step-by-step photos to complement the detailed plain-english instructions. Meant to be used by people with no previous experience in crocheting with a pattern, there are no abbreviations at all to start with. Then a couple very obvious abbreviations (such as ch = chain, sc = single crochet) will be introduced in the course of the tutorial so you can progressively gain confidence in your pattern-reading skills.
Furthermore, a 2nd version of the exact same pattern is provided using all the commonly used abbreviations and lingo so you can see it’s not so difficult after a little practise.
Once you’ve finished your miniature sweater, you’ll be completely ready to tackle the full-size version of the same design, « Roselette » for babies and girls up to 10yo or « Violaine » for ladies in size XS to XL : one of my students had finished her very first « Roselette » baby sweater one week only after completing this workshop !

And you can do it too !

Pattern is written with a focus on detailed very EASY TO FOLLOW instructions, even for advanced beginner crocheters. Close-up and step by step pictures help you visualize what you are meant to do for each step.
