MINUIT is the French word for midnight. When I designed MINUIT, I wanted to make a cowl that accentuates the beautiful and dark hand-dyed yarn that I got on a yarn festival once. The lace texture of MINUIT really brings out all the lovely colors of indie-dyed yarns. The yarn I used is a 100% merino wool, which is very comfortable to wear since it is super soft and light.

In case you have a small amount of hand-dyed yarn left in your stash or want to knit a project with hand-dyed yarn, but can only afford to buy a small amount of skeins this project is perfect for you. You will need a little less than two skeins for this project. And you can even adjust the length of the
cowl to use the exact amount of yarn that you have.

I love to wear my MINUIT on late evenings in the end of summer when it slowly gets cold, but still is way to nice to go inside.

I hope you will like it just as much as I do! Happy knitting!
