While Cherry Tree Hill no longer appears to have a cashmere/silk blend, the Fingering Alpaca should more than do this design justice. This mock cable pattern involves a YO and SKPSSO, rather than the more traditional way of working mock cables (by knitting two together, then knitting the first one again and slipping them both off the needle together). The mock cable, performed all the way around the wrist, functions as ribbing too; then at the hand you stop and provide a wide frame for the ribbing panel. Beautiful and elegant.
