This fun, modern blanket is easy to knit. On trend colours make this design “pop” but any combination of 3 colours can be used. The choice is yours! It’s large enough for a baby cot / crib or as a lap blanket for an adult or child.
Knitted garter stitch squares have a simple, narrow garter stitch border. Each square is knitted from point to point increasing to half way before changing colour and decreasing to the other point. The squares are placed randomly in strips and then sewn together. There is a diagram at the end of the pattern to show you where to place them.

To make the size stated you will need 64 squares in total but this is a great knit to take with you. Just pop your square, needles and yarn in your bag for a perfect “On the go” project.
A circular needle is just required for the border to accomodate the amount of stitches.

The size can be easily altered to be larger or smaller by adding or subtracting squares. You will have to adapt the yarn requirements to do this.
