Have you ever heard of a Moon Garden? It’s a garden that can be enjoyed at night time when there is ample moonlight. Moon Gardens are when planted with night blooming plants, white flowering plants, plants with bright foliage and plants that are especially fragrant. Just imagine sitting in a moon garden under a bright full or crescent moon!

My Moon Garden scarf is a lightweight, shallow crescent-shaped scarf that is crocheted from side to side that starts with a few stitches and ends with a few stitches, with a pretty border on the bottom curved edge. Moon Garden is a quick one-skein project with easy-to-memorize row repeats that crochets up fast, so it’s a great scarf for gifting.

You will need about 325 yards of fingering or sock weight yarn. I used the lovely Savvy Skeins Sensible Sock yarn in the color “Chantilly”. If you are looking for a lightweight, very wearable scarf, Moon Garden is for you!
