The Morning Light scarf an easy, modified crescent-shaped scarf that is crocheted tip to tip. Just like the morning light, it is light and airy and beautiful.

The Morning Light scarf is a perfect one skein project and is perfect for gifting. You need only one skein of about 430 yards of fingering or sock weight yarn. I used one skein of the beautiful hand-painted Mockingbird sock yarn from Lone Star Arts.

The stitch pattern is just about perfect because you crochet the top and bottom edging as you crochet the rows. When you crochet the last stitch, the scarf is finished!

The Morning Light scarf starts increasing at one tip and then starts decreasing after the mid point back down to the other tip, and is crocheted in an easy-to-memorize stitch pattern for each section. With long tapered ends and a rounded mid point, the Morning Light scarf is very easy to wrap and wear in a variety of ways.
