Third in the Peppercorn Cowl Series! A new design will be released on the 15th of the month through March.

Take just the right trail at just the right time on Mt. Juneau, Alaska and you might happen upon Mountain Heart Lake. They say it is a very strenuous hike and very steep so it is not on my list of things to try. I’ll settle for the beautiful cowl inspired by the photograph and consider myself lucky! If you are inclned to hike it be sure to wear this cowl.

Mountain Heart is knit with an I-cord cast on and bind off. The stitch mimics the climb less the strain and is easy to follow with a zig zag and cable stitch. Both written and charted instructions are included. A fun to knit cowl suitable for beginners with an appetite for a little adventure and varied enough for knitters of intermediate and advanced skill levels.

I can’t say enough good things about the yarn I used for this cowl. You can find it here https://www.etsy.com/listing/228633379/heart-of-the-mount...
