Mr Fisher was the 3rd and final design in my Miss Potter Sock Club 2, and is now available as an individual download.

Mr Jeremy Fisher was a gentle little frog who lived in a damp house on the edge of a pond. One day he decided to invite friends for dinner, and thought that some minnows would be the perfect dish to serve them.

He took his boat out onto the pond in the hope of catching some, but was very surprised to see what actually appeared on the end of his fishing rod !

He abandoned his fish feasting plans, and made a tasty meal from grasshoppers instead.

This design is inspired by Mr Fisher’s exploits on the pond. The stitch pattern shows him jumping around the lily pads, making lots of little ripples on the water.

This is a fun and addictive knit, perfect for a pretty speckled yarn - in frog colours of course !

For the pattern sample, I used a sock set from Lay Family Yarns in ‘Enchanted Wood’.

The pattern comes in 3 sizes, and includes a video tutorial on the special little froggy print stitches.
