Colorful one-skein-wonder bundle of joy! A nice and easy knit that works up an interesting result. This scarf will fly off your 10 mm’s in no time :-)

Very well suited for beginner knitters with a little experience in crochet as you need only to know 2 type of knit stitches;

  • Knit and
  • Yarn over

I have included photo - and video tutorials to help you on your way.
You can leave out the rows of dropped stitches to simplify it even more - see how this looked when Sarah did this in her project :-)

Measurements: 130 X 65 cm / 51.2 X 25.6 inch

Materials: Worsted weight yarn, (100 g). Suggested: Red heart boutiques unforgettable or other self striping worsted weight yarn.
(Note: you should be able to work this up using 1 skein of red heart boutiques unforgettable and following gauge instructions, but to be safe, buy 2 ;-))

Knitting needles: 10 mm,

Crochet hook: 4,5 mm (US7)

Yardage: 280 yards (256 meters) of worsted weight yarn. I used 1 skein of Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable. If you want a bigger scarf, you’ll need more than one skein.

Gauge: 9 st x 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm

Crochet stitches used (US terms) :

Crochet
Chain (CH)
Double Crochet (DC)
Slip Stitch (SS)
