A little something to celebrate?
Say goodbye to 2015 and welcome the new year with Little Alice!

For a more comprehensive photo tutorial on how to make her hair, you can take a look at Something Sweet n’ Precious facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/SomethingSweetNPrecious

Required stitches include Chain (ch), Single Crochet (sc), Double Crochet (dc), Increase and Decrease for both sc and dc, Back Loop Only (blo), Front Loop Only (flo)

♥ Most body parts are started using a magic ring and worked in joined rounds unless otherwise indicated. Start every round with a Ch 1 and start in the same stitch. End every round with sl st to the first sc. Ch 1 and start in the same stitch.

♥ If you are not familiar with the magic ring, you may wish to start with ch 2 and crochet the indicated number of sts into the 2nd ch from the hook.

♥ We are using the DK/8-ply yarn for the doll body and the 4-ply yarn for the doll clothes

♥ We insert pipe cleaners into the limbs, body and head of the doll before stuffing with poly-fil

We use craft eyes for the eyes. You may use beads, or cut felt pieces in the shape of eyes.

Gauge is not critical as long as consistent tension is applied.

We consider this pattern an intermediate one where you are already familiar with the different crochet stitches and able to join parts together.
