This year - our 12th annual MKAL - features a Hat with a few options… go for a regular beanie fit or add a bit of slouch. Fancy a smooth crown or gathered? The choice is yours. To add to the fun, this pattern will work with just about any gauge yarn. The final pattern will be published for worsted weight but the construction has been designed so that it works on blocks or repeats, and notes are included to help you decide what’s needed for your yarn and size. Have a rummage through your stash or buy that special skein that’s caught your eye, then swatch and join us on the forum!

This MKAL will be held in the Woolly Wormhead’s Hats group - any and all questions relating to this MKAL and it’s patterns are answered there. I’m afraid I’m unable to offer help via email or social media for this event.

The Introduction file will provide you with all the details you need ahead of casting on, including hashtags for social media and how to avoid spoilers.

Installment dates:
Pt. 1 – 1st November
Pt. 2 – 9th November
Pt. 3 – 17th November
Final pattern release – 26th November

Prior to the first instalment (1st November) you will receive an introduction file that outlines yarn requirements and other important information. When the first and subsequent instalments are due you will receive an update notice that provides a link to download the latest files. These download links will be sent to the email address you used to purchase, as well as your Ravelry account if you have one. Please note that the download links cannot be sent to alternative email addresses as they are sent automatically.

Instalments are sent on the dates outlined above. The instalments will remain available for download until the final pattern is published on the 26th November. You are advised to save the instalments in a safe place as they will be deleted after that time, although they should remain in your Ravelry library.
