Nikki’s Cowl
My great niece, Nicole Diane, lives in a warmer area, but winter mornings are chilly enough to wear a cowl, so I designed this lacy one for her. Marble Chunky yarn is a good choice for something chunky, yet lightweight and easy care. This is a very quick knit, and whether you knit for yourself or for gifts, I hope you will enjoy the ease of this pattern!

There are two pattern versions, the moebius and infinity cowl; each one is fast and fun to knit.
It is approximately 7” deep x 50” in circumference.
Gauge: 2 1/2 sts./in.

Version One
The Moebius has a 180-degree twist, which is created at the special cast on, and join. Rounds of knitting grow from the center of the work to the outsides.

Materials
100 grams of Marble Chunky. Approximately 170 yards. (Most other chunky weight yarn will work with this project.)
Size 11 circular needles in a 47” inch length. Stitch marker. Yarn needle.

Version Two
The Infinity Cowl is knit in the round with no twist. It is knit from cast on edge to bound off edge.

Materials
100 grams of Marble Chunky. Approximately 170 yards. (Most other chunky weight yarn will work with this project.)
Size 11 circular needles in a 24” inch length. Stitch marker. Yarn needle.

Nikki received her cowl and just loves it! She sent me a photo of her wearing it to go out and meet her friends. Isn’t she adorable?!

Enjoy!
