Nodi-hat is worked in the round from the brim up. The brim is shaped with short rows but instructions are given also for straight brim.

Yarn

100 g of worsted weight yarn, app. 200 m (219 yds) per 100 g or 100 g of fingering weight yarn, app. 366 m (400 yds) per 100 g, held double. The sample (size M) was knitted with worsted wt yarn using Chester Wool Company Highland Worsted (49205), (100% Wool, 200 m/ 219 yds per 100 g) and used 70 g.

Needles & notions

3.75 mm/ US 5 and 4.50 mm/ US 7 (80 cm/ 32 inches or longer for magic loop) circular needle, or set of DPNs or size to obtain gauge
markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends
