Skill Level:
This would be considered a beginner friendly pattern! You must know how to increase and decrease. You must know how to half double crochet. You must know how to crochet in the front loops only.

Materials:
You will need yarn, scissors, 3.50 mm crochet hook, 3.00 mm crochet hook, 5.00 mm crochet hook, stitch markers, and poly-fill for stuffing. You will also need either safety eyes or felt eyelashes.

Let’s Talk Yarn!
You will need #4 worsted weight yarn for this project. The colors are totally customizable. You could do a classic black and white penguin or even a fuzzy gray one! I used Red Heart Super Saver for the red, white, and orange. The green is Mainstay Basic yarn. You need about 200 yards for the main body color.

Abbreviations:
-Ch: chain
-Sl st: slip stitch
-Sc: single crochet
-Inc: increase
-Dec: decrease
-Flo: front loop only
-Hdc: half double crochet
