This pattern is a version of an octagon shape. It has eight panels in total, which two of in the front are slightly bigger. This pattern is also a mirror image. The rows for this pattern are broken down into sections which have been colour coded to make it easier to read.

The size of this shawl is not adjustable, but using a thinner yarn and smaller hook will give you a smaller size.

For this pattern I used three balls of MoYa Snugs. They are 150g balls and multicoloured with abrupt colour changes. If you however want to make the shawl in one colour, you can use 9x 50g balls of the same colour. The 50g balls are called MoYa Caresse and come in a variety of colours. Both yarns are the same base yarn.
