Glazed by a thin crystal coating of ice, the tree branches and the snow glisten in the midday light. The wind bites as it whistles through tree branches and whips along the sides of the house. Everything is sharper, brighter, in this light, and even the piercing cold adds a clarity and beauty to the outdoors. Breath becomes a suspended cloud. Even with this bitter chill, the artic, pristine cold is not felt due to base layers & a warm, oakmoss cabled sweater.

Sweater is cast on and worked in the round up to the armholes, where work is split and worked flat. Shoulders are rejoined using a 3-needle bind off, sleeves and collar are picked up and worked in the round. Please block your work to bloom the cables & even your stitches.
