Ode to Eyelets is a triangle shawl, knit top down with an I-chord edge that is knit as you go. The shawl incorporates several different simple eyelet lace patterns giving a great texture and keeping the knitting interesting.

Both charted and written directions are given. This is an easy pattern that is good for newbies and experts alike. It is a very flexible pattern and should work with most yarn weights up to worsted.
