The On the Bias Granny Square Blanket is my modern take on a granny square design that uses simple, classic stitch patterns. When worked on the bias, as the name of the blanket suggests, one fun granny square creates 6 gorgeous, afghan designs!

This 1 pattern includes 6 different schematics so that you can make 6 different blankets! While designing this afghan I realized that simply by rearranging the granny squares, I could make 6 different blankets! I can’t wait to see which one is your favorite!

Adjustable Size
The On the Bias Granny Square Afghan is easily adjustable by crocheting more or fewer granny squares. Use the included schematics to help you adjust the size of your afghan.

Yarn
For the afghan shown in the photos, I used Lion Brand Yarns Pound of Love in Elephant Grey. The 48”W x 62”L afghan used approximately 2.5 skiens (2,700 yards).
