On the Contrary is an interesting symmetrical shawl using contrasting colors, lines and textures. It is worked from the center top to the bottom in one piece.

These instructions are easy to follow and only include basic knitting skills. There is also no need to worry about weaving in multiple ends, both strands of yarn are carried, almost invisibly along one edge of the shawl, so that you will only end up with 4 ends to weave in!
