The Open Hearted Beanie is a stranded colourwork beanie with a bold, contemporary motif charted in two or three colours. It is knit from the bottom up with an optional double brim. Knit this on its own or as part of a set with Dear Pru Open Hearted Mitts and Open Hearted Vest knitting patterns.

NOTE: three charts are provided: one for the two colour version, one for the three colour version, and one for you to colour in yourself!

Along Avec Anna Double Merino (100% superwash merino; 108m per 50g)
Main Colour (MC): 2 x 50g in Améthyste

Three colour, ribbed band version:
Brooklyn Tweed Arbor (Targhee non superwash wool; 133m/ 145 yards per 50g) or equivalent
Main Colour (MC): 1 x 50g in Cobbler
Contrast Colour (CC1): 1 x 50g Klimt
Contrast Colour (CC2): 1 x 50g in Mesa

Knitting needles
4 mm / 40 cm (US 6/ 16”) circular knitting needle

Gauge
26 sts x 30 rows= 10cm x 10cm / 4” x 4” in colourwork pattern lightly blocked with a steamy iron.
