THE ORRIN BEANIE!
This pattern is inspired by my oldest son. He is 14 and has very simple taste when it comes to clothes. I wanted a warm beanie with subtle textures that would look good in one color or several. Thus… the Orrin Beanie was born!

It’s worked in rows, then joined at the seam, and finished off with a simple border. The hat has a simple 2 row repeat that would be suitable for a beginner or advanced crocheter.
I have included several photos to help you with correct stitch placement.

Any worsted weight 4 yarn would work with this pattern. I think a self striping yarn or cake would be look amazing.

All you need to make your Orrin Beanie is an H hook, a skein of yarn, and some scissors. (… and a needle if you sew in your ends)

This hat is great for everyone, even picky teenagers! A BIG Win for Mom!
