Out of the blue is a round yoke sweater worked seamlessly from the top down. Short rows are worked back and forth to create a higher back neck before starting the beautiful stranded color work yoke down to sleeve separation. Sleeve stitches are placed on hold when the underarm length is reached. Then the body is completed first working down to the hem in rounds. Finally sleeves are worked in rounds down to the cuff.

Yarn:
Any Fingering weight yarn with approximately 437yds/400m/100g that gives you the proper gauge will work well.
The sweater on the photo is knitted from Tosh Merino light (420 yds (384m) / 100g). Main color Hosta Blue and contrasting color Upstate.

Yardage:
Please note that the yardage depends on yarn choice, knitting tension and desired length of the sweater.
