I made two hats like this, for charity. One is with a pompom, the other is not. This is a quick and easy hat to do, in about one hour (if you are a fast knitter), or two hours (if you are a slower knitter).

It’s an ideal project for beginners because there is no shaping of the crown. The hat is knitted in bulky yarn but if you don’t have that yarn, you can use two strands of any yarn to make it bulkier. I hope you enjoy making this hat as much as I did.
