Like the movements of a pas de deux ballet, two yarns take turns “on stage” by themselves. Then, in a beautiful adagio, the two yarns weave in and out of each of other for a final display. Sound difficult? It isn’t! Simple stockinette and garter lead you to the two-color vertical stripe edging and picots. An enchanting dance from choosing two complimentary yarns to the very last stitch!

All you need are two balls of fingering weight yarn in complementing colors, Size 5 knitting needles, and 6 stitch markers. Basic knitting knowledge required: Knit, Purl, Yarn Over, Kfb (knit in the front & back of stitch).

Pattern is detailed with many tips and reminders for successfully knitting this shawl. Diagram included for visual instruction.
