This pattern makes a short, warm, chunky lace sock that is both pretty and warm when knit up with a super soft merino wool!
Knit in the round in a simple lace pattern, use DPNS or a long circular needle for the magic loop method.

O-Wool Legacy DK
100% Merino Wool
130yds/120m
1.75oz/50g

US 4 - 3.5mm set of 5 DPNS (or a long circular needle)

Pattern makes two sizes:
Small/Medium 8” - 20.5cm tall and 9” - 23cm long
Medium/Large 8” -20.5cm tall and 9.75” - 25cm long

I used two skeins of O-Wool Legacy DK in Lava red. If you are knitting the larger size or decide to make a taller sock, make sure you have extra yarn on hand!

Notes
When you arrive at the gusset section, you may elect not to use stitch markers if working with DPNS, or rearrange your stitches so they are comfortable to use during the decrease section.

Gauge:
24sts x 32 rows = 4” - 10cm
