If you are a KNITTER, here is a great way to make a Knitted American Flag Wreath.

This Patriotic Wreath adds a welcoming touch on your front door on 4th of July, Independence Day, Flag Day, Memorial Day, or all year round!

Materials
• Worsted Weighted YARN: Red, White, & Blue
• Size 8 US Straight Knitting Needles
• Styrofoam Wreath Ring (12 inch diameter) - purchased at Michael’s
• Foam Star Stickers - purchased at Michael’s
• Tapestry Needle
• Scissors

Begin by Casting On twenty stitches by using the Long-Tail Method. We will knit fourteen stripes in red and white. Each Stripe is eight rows in Stockinette Stitch. Once you have completed your Stripes, it is time to knit your field of Blue.

Bind off and sew the blue and red ends together with your yarn tail using a tapestry needle. Then simply stretch your knitted piece over your foam form. And sew your piece in back of the foam form as needed to hold it tightly together.

Then it is time to decorate with the Star Stickers. Looks great!
