Peacock C2C Throw
This pretty peacock throw is just the right size to curl up with on the couch or to keep you toasty while reading in bed. The finished blanket measures approximately 48” x 72.”
Skill level: easy (basic crochet skills and knowledge of C2C with color changes).
If you are not familiar with C2C or need a refresher, you’ll find videos on our website (sq1-crochet-designs.com) that will walk you through the basics.
Tools Needed:
• US size H-8 (5 mm), or size needed to obtain gauge
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Stitch markers
• Bobbins
Yarn Needed: approximately 3,000 yards of worsted weight yarn in 9 colors.
Crochet Pattern Includes:
• 37-page PDF pattern
• Full-color graphs (single-page and multi-page graphs)
• Uncolored graphs with symbols that represent the colors (single page and multi-page graphs)
• Two sets of row-by-row written instructions (one with full-color names spelled out and one with colors abbreviated)
Yarn Specifics:
Feel free to use any worsted weight yarn. We use Red Heart Super Saver (364 yds/198g skein).
Approximate yardage for each color:
• Soft White: 1,624 yds (883 g)
• Light Blue: 309 yds (168 g)
• Amethyst: 231 yds (126 g)
• Pretty N’ Pink: 196 yds (106 g)
• Minty: 188 yds (102 g)
• Saffron: 177 yds (96 g)
• Pumpkin: 107 yds (58 g)
• Pale Yellow: 99 yds (54 g)
• Black: 3 yds (1 g)
GAUGE: 4 blocks (ch 3 + 3 dc) = 3.75 inches.
Finished size: 48” x 72” (Your finished size may vary depending on your yarn, hook size and differences in gauge.)
