This toy elephant is knitted in peanut butter coloured stripes in stockinette stitch. The elephant is made from five knitted pieces that are sewn together: the top of the body, bottom of the body, two ears and a tail. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the elephant is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and buttons for eyes.

SIZES
One size only - 13cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
