The Crochet Pencil Chapstick Holder and Keychain is a beginner-friendly pattern that works up quickly and because of the endless color options is a great way to use up all your scrap yarn too!

It’s perfect for making a quick thank you gift for friends and teachers, for selling at craft fairs, adding a little extra something to a gift, and for simply having a fun and unique way to carry your chapstick!

The pattern also includes instructions for turning the pencil into a regular amigurumi pencil, if desired!

MATERIALS NEEDED
To complete the Crochet Pencil Chapstick Holder and Keychain you will need:

  • yarn in your choice of colors (about 22 yds of worsted/aran),
  • a size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook,
  • stitch markers,
  • tapestry needle,
  • scissors,
  • keyring

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
+ Using hook size E/4 (3.5 mm) the pencil measures approximately 3.75 inches (9.5 cm) long, 2 7/8 inches (7.3 cm) in circumference, and 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter at the top of the pencil.
