Overlay Mosaic Crochet Pattern
Penny’s Sunflower Farm Afghan

This afghan has all the elements of a lovely farm scene. From the bottom and working up, you’ll start with butterflies and flowers in front of the wooden picket fence where sunflowers are peeking over the top. Next is the pasture where Penny the cow and her friends graze the day away. Behind the barn and farmhouse is the cornfield with the bright morning sun coming up to start a new day.

NOTE: This pattern is also part of a bundle with GOATS to substitute in for the cows. You may also purchase the goats separately - Clark the Goat and Friends is the pattern name.

Skill Level:
Confident beginner - As long as you know the basics of crocheting (stitches listed above), you will be able to do this project. Mosaic crochet looks a lot more complex than it really is. I have had several people that were brand new to mosaic crochet try my patterns and each one was able to follow the instructions and were successful in their projects.
