This cute piece was originally designed as a flared skirt, but then I discovered it looked really great as a capelet - hence the name “Perfecta” as it goes 2 ways.
The ribbed top is very stretchy so the added twisted cord helps to keep it in place.
The lacy design flows from paired eyelets to leaves which increase in size as your work progresses, ending with paired eyelets around the hem.

Yarn: Bijou Spun ―Fingering Weight‖, , 100% Pure Yak Down; 100 yards (1m); 1oz (28 grams); CYCA size 2 fingering: brown, 5 (6, 6, 7, 8, 8) hanks.
Needles: Size US 2 and 3 (2.75 mm and 3.25mm) needles; or size to obtain correct gauge
Notions: Tapestry needle.

GAUGE:
28 sts and 38 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Stitch patterns with larger needles.
