The Small and Medium sizes actually have the same length wingspan (which isn’t very “small” in my opinion). The only difference is how full the shawl is. Medium has four panels of repeats and Small only has three. The number of rows, and thus the wingspan, remains the same. Small may be completed with a single 400 yard / 100 gram skein. Medium uses slightly more at 535 yards. The largest size uses the four panel repeat structure (the same as Medium), but with extended rows to lengthen the wingspan.
