This warm cardigan will be the perfect addition to your winter weather wardrobe. Persistence is knit from the top, down and has a long ribbed collar that you can button up to the top on a breezy day. The shoulder shaping and yoke are formed using increases on both sides of the fabric, for a “contiguous” saddle shoulder. Short rows are then worked to help to round out the shoulder caps. The button bands are easily picked up from slipped stitches on each front edge.

These instructions are easy to follow and require advanced knitting skills such as short rows, cables, picking up stitches, and increasing on both sides of the fabric. If you are an adventurous intermediate knitter, this patten is well written and explains each step in great detail.
