Phage Beanie is a biology-themed beanie that is inspired by the amazing structure of a bacteriophage - a bacteria-eating virus. The sophisticated look and the quick work-up time of the Phage beanie make it a perfect gift for the science lover in your family. The hat is designed to have generous negative ease to fit a wide range of head circumferences. The finished product is textured, cozy, and most suitable for the fall and winter seasons.

The pattern includes written instructions in standard American terms in English, a stitch glossary that explains how to crochet the special stitches in the pattern, as well as annotated images, and links for video tutorials for more visual crocheters.

The skill level required is intermediate, but adventurous beginners will enjoy the achievable challenges of the pattern.
