Pibbi-shawl is a crescent shaped shawl knitted from top down. It has a subtle wavy edge and picot bind off.

Yarn

You will need fingering wt yarn, approximately 366 m/ 400 yds per 100 g in three colours and lace wt kidsilk in one colour. You will need approximately 100 g of colour A, 15 g of colour B, 60 g of colour C and 40 g of colour D. The sample shawl used all of the colour A so it might be necessary to have a bit extra of it or use fingering wt yarn which has around 400 m/ 438 yds per 100 g.

The sample shawl was knitted with Chester Wool Company Singles HT, 100% Merino, 366 m/ 400 yds per 100 g (colours A and D), Malabrigo Yarn Mechita, 100% Merino, 384 m/ 420 yds per 100g (colour C) and Garnstudio Drops Kid-silk, 75% Mohair/ 25% Silk, 210 m/ 230 yds per 25 g (colour B) and used full skein of colour A, 15 g of colour B (kidsilk), 60 g of colour C and 40 g of colour D.
