A pretty, lacy kerchief of head scarf designed by me. This kerchief features shell and picot stitches for the main body and a worked-as-you-go edging. This kerchief definitely has a feminine flair! If made in white, it would make a wonderful headpiece for a wedding.

Size: Fits Teen to Adult. Measurements: 19’’ across front - ties are 11’’ long - 10’’ long from front to back point

Materials: DK weight cotton yarn and crochet hook Size G (4.25mm). Note: I used Bernat Cassino (100% Mercerized Cotton), but this yarn has been discontinued. Any DK weight cotton yarn would work well.

Gauge: 18 dc x 9 rows = 4’’

The pattern is written in standard American/U.S. terms.
