Siempre estuve obsesionada con los diseños geométricos. Rayas, rectángulos, triángulos encontrados para crear otras infinitas formas. ¡Era CANTADO que me iba a enamorar la técnica del C2C! Es ideal para crear diseños de Pixel Art o para tejer diagonales. Además, este es un punto TOTALMENTE REVERSIBLE ¿Qué más se le puede pedir? La inspiración de este diseño viene de los vestidos de colorblock de los años 60s, que a su vez estuvieron inspirados en la obra de Piet Mondrian, un revolucionario si los hubo dentro de las artes gráficas, ya que sólo usaba formas geométricas dentro de sus pinturas. La simplificación de las formas en su máxima expresión.

El diseño que les propongo hoy es de dificultad intermedia, ya que a pesar de ser sencillo, en algunos lugares tenemos que usar toda nuestra magia tejeril para esconder los hilos en los cambios de color, o usar hasta siete (¡7!) ovillos al mismo tiempo.

También te muestro tres versiones: una con hilado semigrueso, otra con hilado fino y borde, y un cuello.

The inspiration for this scarf comes from the colorblock dresses of the 60s, which were inspired by the work of Piet Mondrian. He was a revolutionary since his paintings were solely composed by geometric forms, breaking away from naturalism. It was the simplification of shape to the max, and the preeminence of pure color.

The design for this scarf is of intermediate difficulty, since it’s overall simple, in some sections we will have to make all kind of knitting magic to hide the threads in the color changes or use up to seven (7!) yarn balls at the same time.

I will show you three different versions of the same design as well: one made in DK or Worsted yarn, one in fingering yarn, and a Cowl.
