This Piranha uses a zipper for a row of teeth! The mouth piece is separate so they can eat candy, or little fingers! Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the piranha is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). This pattern incorporates a three-needle bind off and Kitchener stitch grafting.

NEEDLES
Three 3.75mm single pointed knitting needles (US 5)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 50g in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, buttons for eyes and a zipper with white teeth.

SIZES
One size only - 10cm tall x 15cm long.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
